In this video there is a two way highway with a manhole cover between the two lanes. It's raining and all of a sudden a huge geyser of water shoots up out of the manhole cover. One of the passing cars gets hit by the flying manhole cover. The geyser dies down and then near the end of the video it does it again.

Here's a jetski like watercraft which is complete covered and shaped like a dolphin. It can only submerge up to two feet but it can do rolls and dives within that two feet. Additionally they claim it can jump up to 10 feet out of the water and is powered by a car size 300 hp engine. The cockpit glass of the watercraft is from an F-18 and is about half an inch think which lets it withstand it hitting the water. In the photo on the main site for the watercraft it looks to have two seats in it but in the video it seems like it only has one seat.

Some guy found an old Fallout Shelter handbook at an Arts Festival and has scanned a few of the pages and put them up on the web. The cover of the handbook shows your normal 50's family living underground in their normal clothes. Some of the advertisements that go with it include a geiger counter, an air pump system, an age chemical toilet, and a portable toilet stand. The movie, The Day After, portrays it somewhat differently after an attack which doesn't look at all like the cover of the Fallout shelter handbook.

Here's a five page article which details multiple stories of people who have hair growing long all over them (see photo). There are multiple black and white photos of these people with exceedingly long hair and a few drawings as well. In a couple of the photos it appears that the same long hair trait was passed on to their children. One Russian guy named Adrian with the overly long hair problem had yellow eyes and greyish skin. Adrian had a son which also had the same problem and who later become "Jo-Jo the Dog Faced Boy". The description of the Adrian guy sure sounds like the beginnings of a werewolf myth though with this yellow eyes, greyish skin, covered in hair, and living on the forest. Or at the very least a perpetuation and reaffirmation of the existing werewolf myths.

Here's a pretty crazy resonance video I found over on a video site. You maybe have seen some of our other blogs where they use resonance to form patterns in sand and water. In this video which is similar a guy has about a 30cm diameter piece of paper covered in moss spores. The paper is vibrated and it causes all kinds of crazy patterns to form in the spores (powder). The different frequencies cause different patterns to form. He focuses on two patterns in the video where the spores spin around like a galaxy in the center of the paper; first clockwise and then counterclockwise.

In this video a mansion house called Updown Court is featured. The mansion was built in England and according to the video took five years to complete. The grounds include 58 acres of parks, gardens, and woodland. The inside living space of the house is around 14,000 square feet with a good portion of the house completely covered in a rare marble. There are multiple swimming pool sized pools inside the house and a large hearted pool outside. Additionally it features it's own bowling alley and what looks like house stables (not to mention the staff and guest houses). This place really reminds me of Hearst Castle, the Vanderbilt mansion, Lyndhurst, and the Rockefeller in architecture, design, and uselessness.

Apparently on the 31st of May a group of about 50 Swedish police officers raided the server farm of the company which hosts the server for "The Pirate Bay" website. "The Pirate Bay" is a website which indexes torrent files (which are filesharing pointers to other files). Some of these pointers point to files which may infringe copyrights in certain countries. However, "The Pirate Bay" is a prefectly legal service (according to the owners and the local law apparently) where it is hosted which is in Sweden. To make a long story short the MPAA alledgidly put political pressure on a Swedish politician who put pressure on Swedish police to 'raid' this data center. This video is from the security cameras in the data center. It's pretty funny watching these 'police' wander around in the datacenter and pick their noses (literally). Police don't wear uniforms in Sweden or what? Even more interestingly is that usually after the guy with the camo jacket wanders by the police come back and cover the security cameras with garbage bags. Could they be any more unprofessional if they tried? This video doesn't show it but apparently they took ALL of the servers in the datacenter regardless of who owned them. For the win?

So here is a video of a demonstration in Japan showing a human like 'android'. The android stays sitting in the chair the whole time so I'll wager they still need to work on that whole walking thing. The actual face looks pretty real but I noticed they covered up the hands with gloves because they probably made it look fake. The android moves around but you can tell the motions are driven by servos as they are hardly smooth to say the least. The commentary in the video is all in Japanese so good luck with that. Maybe they need to pair up with the company working on that robotic pack mule for the US Army.

Here is another illusion video by the same Japanese illusionist who we've seen in a couple other videos that have been posted. In this video he does a couple warm up tricks where he shoots cards at a window and the chosen card sticks to the window plus a trick where he switchs the card from one side to the other. For main trick he goes down into a glass bottomed boat and sets up a card with the audience by writing on it and ripping a corner off. Then he shoots the cards at the window and the chosen card is stuck on the OUTSIDE of the glass bottomed boat window. He covers it with a cloth, reachs his hand through, and pulls the card back through the window to the inside (or at least that is the illusion). It looks to me like he reachs down and pulls the card out of the cloth that is covering the window.

Here is a video that is getting huge coverage across the net of a robot that tranforms from a car into a robot and back again. We've posted other videos of transforming robots which were spoofs, commercials, or just CGI shots but this isn't one of those. This was shown at some robotics show or some such in Japan (where else?). The robot is about the size of something that you could build with an erector set. The legs are out in front and the arms, head, and body are in the back. If they had changed it to drive in the other direction that would have basically had Optimus Prime. You just know they are going to have real RC transformers in a few years for a couple hundred dollars.
