Futuristic Hover Drone Invented In England In This Article

Hoverdrone ImageHere is an interesting article about an inventor from England who has created a hoverdrone. It is basically a cross between a hovercraft and a helicopter which looks like a flying saucer. It's shaped like a bell with the rotating blade above the bellshape. The air is forced down around the sides of the bell which I assume causes lift. This thing looks like the hover drones from the Dark Angel TV series. The real question is can they scale this thing up so it can carry a human?

Photo Of A Mutant Duck With Four Legs Found In England

Four Legged Duck PhotoHere is a photo of a duckling with four legs which poped up on the most emailed photos on Yahoo. Apparently the duck was discovered in England at a duck farm. The two extra feet don't seem to be as correctly formed as the normal two feet of the duck. Hard to tell if the extra legs are usable or not as well. Makes you wonder what they feed ducks in England and are they down river from a nuclear power plant to get their extra mutant on.

Drivers Crash Into Bollards In Bus Lanes For A Good Time

Bollard VideoThis video would do better if it had commentary while the video was rolling. In any event England has installed this posts called bollards on various streets to only allow buses to use certain lanes. When the bus drives up the bollards go down and let the bus by. The bollards then close and if someone tries to drive by they hit the bollards. This video features various different drives who try to sneak by after the bus has gone through and run into the bollards. Some of the pretty hit them pretty hard and smack into their windshields. So let that be a lesson to you, 'Don't drive in bus lanes.'

Brand New Crazy Huge 14000 Square Feet British Mansion Tour Video

Crazy English Mansion VideoIn this video a mansion house called Updown Court is featured. The mansion was built in England and according to the video took five years to complete. The grounds include 58 acres of parks, gardens, and woodland. The inside living space of the house is around 14,000 square feet with a good portion of the house completely covered in a rare marble. There are multiple swimming pool sized pools inside the house and a large hearted pool outside. Additionally it features it's own bowling alley and what looks like house stables (not to mention the staff and guest houses). This place really reminds me of Hearst Castle, the Vanderbilt mansion, Lyndhurst, and the Rockefeller in architecture, design, and uselessness.

Online Mapping Service Sends Driver On Wild Goose Chase Across Four Countries

Funny Online Map PhotoMost people have probably used one of the online map services before. And if you have you may have run into one of their not so great moments of sending you on a wild goose chase in the wrong direction or on a route that is totally wrong. Well someone took a screen shot of the MSN map service which told them to go to England from Norway, then to France, Germany, and finally back to Norway in a totally out of the way loop when they could have just driven a few miles north up the road and gotten to the same place. I assume that the first leg of the trip on the MSN map is by ferry because it is over a large body of water.

Check out the full size photo of the MSN scene route map for yourself.
