This photo of a two faced cow shot up to the number one emailed photo on Yahoo today. Yesterday it was on the move in their top twenty or so. Apparently the cow has two eyes in the center of the two faces, two tongues, and two different noses which it breaths out of. The real question is does Rural Retreat, Virginia where the cow was born glow? In reality mutations like this are pretty common it seems as we've posted things like this before and there are whole websites dedicated to five legged cows and other such things.

Here's a video of a prototype computer input output device which is designed like a paint brush. It has a built in video camera into the head of the brush which allows it to pick up "video textures" or still colors and textures. For example, they show the paint brush recording someone blinking their eye and then painting the eye blink texture on�a computer screen canvas. It's hard to tell if the screen canvas is touch sensitive or not (I think it is) as it shows someone smudging one of the images with their finger. However, it's possible that the paint brush device just records itself drawing. It picks up all kinds of textures like this fur print off this hand bag and works exactly like a paint brush after that. Watch the video for a better visual explanation.

Here is a pretty cool do it yourself project that turns an optical mouse into kind of a reverse trackball. Basically it is an optical mouse shaped like a piece of soap that is in an elastic/silk/polyester bag. You can rotate the mouse inside the bag like it was a wet bar of soap. You can also move the fabric of the bag with your thumb over the optical sensor causing the mouse cursor to move around. The video itself explains it much better including how make one for yourself. It seems like it works pretty well from watching the people in the video play games and navigate windows with it.

I'm going with whoever designed this walking table watched Star Wars a few times too many. Apparently this was filmed at some Dutch design show and features the guy on the far side pushing the table causing it to walk across the floor. The legs of the table remind me of the droids in Phantom Menace. It's hard to tell if the table walks in four directions or only two. I'd also have to say that the top of the table shifts down to stand on the legs so that it doesn't walk around by accident. Would this have been more useful before the wheel was invented?

This video would do better if it had commentary while the video was rolling. In any event England has installed this posts called bollards on various streets to only allow buses to use certain lanes. When the bus drives up the bollards go down and let the bus by. The bollards then close and if someone tries to drive by they hit the bollards. This video features various different drives who try to sneak by after the bus has gone through and run into the bollards. Some of the pretty hit them pretty hard and smack into their windshields. So let that be a lesson to you, 'Don't drive in bus lanes.'

Here's a video compilation of various high speed camera footage. It starts out with a dart hitting a balloon and then a dart hitting a water balloon. The thumbnail here is the dart hitting the water balloon. It's amazing how the water keeps it's shape after the balloon is gone. Next up is a tall glass which breaks (I assume from a sound vibration) followed by an empty glass water bottle and then a full glass water bottle falling and breaking into pieces. Following this there are various different videos of a glass sphere filled with various things like vacuum and then a tomato hit by a flying pencil. The video finishs up with an apple and another fruit being hit by a bullet.

Here is a pretty insain video of a couple guys 'ski gliding' from the top of Mount Eiger in Switzerland. What this basically means is these guys have the skydiving parachutes on and skis. Next they push off the top of the mountain and ski/glide down the mountain. They really don't use the skis very much as there is a lot of rock that they are flying over. But what they do use the skis for is to slide and push off various snowy areas. They go down the one slope of the mountain and then turn right down a basically sheer drop and just glide from that point.

So if you have nothing better to do with yourself you can sit around and make art in your coffee. The guy in this video takes about a half a cup of coffee or hot chocolate or whatever it is and fills the rest of the cup with cream. Next he takes either a small screwdriver or a paintbrush and creates little designs in the top of the coffee. Some of them get pretty complex and at one point he adds in chocolate syrup to have another color to mix in with the coffee and cream. He makes everything from bunny faces to butterflies to star patterns and whatever else he can come up with.

Here is a blog article which contains a stream of photos picturing one largest moveable man made machine in the world. Apparently it is an open mining machine in Germany. The article talks about how they had to move it from one mine area to another and it can only move in a straight line so they had to drive it over roads and train tracks. Once it got to the new mine it had a mishaps where it got a bulldozer caught in it's giant mining wheen (pictured).

The kid in this video is possibly a secret disguised ninja as she captures the "cup stacking" world record in 7.43 seconds. Who knew there was a cup stacking record anyway. In any event, first she stacks up a large stack in the middle and two small stacks. After breaking those down she stacks two large stacks and breaks them down again. Finally she stacks one extra�large stack in the middle. These are plastic drinking cups like you would buy in the store. Super crazy secret ninja or little kid? You decide.
