So they finally got the glass looping walkway that goes out over the Grand Canyon built. Apparently it opens to the public on the 28th of this month. It looks like a giant horseshoe that is tacked onto the side of the canyon wall. It is glass in the center so you can look straight down into the canyon. There are two huge beams that the glass stretchs between. Additionally there are high glass walls on edges of the walkway. It isn't a solid piece of glass though and is instead just panels.

The demonstration in this video shows a guy powering a lightbulb and then electric motor using candles. He has two candles and drives a nail into each. He magnetizes the nails and hooks a wire to each one and then to the lightbulb. Next he lights the two candles and the lightbulb powers up.

In this video a guy in Japan shows off a mech he built for around $300,000. It looks like a mech but the legs don't actually lift off the ground and seem to just slide along like the feet have rollers under them. He has air cannons mounted on either side.

Here's a video of a prototype computer input output device which is designed like a paint brush. It has a built in video camera into the head of the brush which allows it to pick up "video textures" or still colors and textures. For example, they show the paint brush recording someone blinking their eye and then painting the eye blink texture on�a computer screen canvas. It's hard to tell if the screen canvas is touch sensitive or not (I think it is) as it shows someone smudging one of the images with their finger. However, it's possible that the paint brush device just records itself drawing. It picks up all kinds of textures like this fur print off this hand bag and works exactly like a paint brush after that. Watch the video for a better visual explanation.

Here's a pretty unconventional performance by a guy who's name I think is Gilles Apap. He's performing a piece by Mozart on a�violin by himself. The unconventional part is that along with playing the violin he also whistles, sings, strums the violin like a ukulele, and plays a beat on the violin with his fingers. The best part is the look on the faces of the orchestra around him. They have varying looks between amazement, embarrassment, and astonishment as if they can't believe this guy is on the same stage as themselves at the same time that they are amazed at the sound he is producing.

Here is a bizarre video featuring a guy who dresses up like Darth Vader and plays a violin in a city downtown. Some of the comments of the video claim it was filmed in downtown Victoria, BC, Canada. The guy sings along with his violin busking though it's pretty difficult to make out what he's saying. At least he is somewhat original moreso than some of the�buskers in other entries (like the guy from San Francisco). The video might be better if the guy actually knew how to play the violin.

There are a couple videos on YouTube featuring dogs singing along with bagpipes. This video is the main one and has a black lab singing (howling) while the dog's owner plays the bagpipes. Apparently the dog sings all the time according to the caption of the video. There is a second video featuring two dogs�side by side� with one singing (howling) to bagpipes as well. In the second video the�black dog can't figure out why the brown dog is howling and tries to nip him to make him stop. The black dog just seems mildly annoyed by the bagpipes instead.
