This video features a pretty bizarre vehicle. It is a miniature steam locamotive except that instead of wheels and a track it runs on crab legs. There looks to be maybe 50 or so crab looking feet that moves the miniature engine around.

The guys in this video built a giant chair robot. The robot sits bent knee and the human sits in the chair. The robot stands up and the human moves it around with a joystick. It's too bad that the chair doesn't actually sit on the floor (they need a step stool to sit in it).

This video shows off a prototype of a house building robot. The robot has a pattern that it follows and it just builds one layer on top of another by laying out material (like concrete) and contouring it. The initial robot in the video is a small prototype which seems to be using clear and near the end of the video it moves to larger prototypes using concrete.

In this video a guy gets carried up on a updraft while kite surfing. He's in the air for about thirty eight seconds or some before coming back down. He moves in over land up to about two hundred feet or so before coming back down and crashing into the dirt.

Here's a video of a guy's hexapod robot which looks like it dropped off the set of Stargate and the Replicators. He walks it around and moves each leg individually when needed.

Here is a video of a "prototype" tractor that was (is?) being developed by a defunct John Deere subsidiary. It looks a lot like some kind of insect with six legs or a lot like that mondo spider video we posted the other day. According to some of the comments with the video they were developing it for use in low impact logging but it really moves very slow. I can't see it being practical moving that slow (though that mondo spider moved pretty fast). Guy in this video is working on his own Stonehenge using only sticks and rocks. In the video his rolls a one ton rock along a specially designed wooden platform using only his hand. He shows how he uses a stone under a huge block of concrete to spin it around and how if he puts another stone under it he can move it with a lever system. In another video clip he moves an entire bard using this method. He takes a huge Stonehenge style block and drops it upright in a hole using some weights, rope, and sticks. In order to get the huge piece of rock high enough to drop it in he rocks it back and forth and sticks a stick in each side of the fulcrum after he rocks it. Reminds me of the Coral Castle guy in Florida. He puts the National Geographic (?) Easter Island guys who were doing something similar to shame though.

Here's a mashup of Street Fighter and Duck Hunter in this video created in Mugen. Apparently Mugen is a build your own Street Fighter clone engine. This guy must have imported the Street Fighter character and moves and put it against the background of duck hunt. It seems like it is actually playable (in that he actually hits the ducks programmably instead of being scripted to the background movie). Mugen has a training mode which this is probably part of. It looks like there are over two hundred different characters you can import and play with in Mugen from a quick web search on the topic.

The illusionist in this video appears to walk on water in this video. It looks like he is in either Las Vegas or maybe Miami by the look of the hotel in the background. In any event he walks up to the hotel pool while holding a small video camera and while being filmed by his crew. He steps out into the water and proceeds to walk across. The from sides it really looks like he is walking on something solid an inch or so under the water. However, when it switchs to his personal camera view it looks like he is just windmilling his legs while something else moves him across. At one point someone swims under him and at another point he takes off his shoes and they sink into the water. Based on his windmilling legs I'm going with he's using some kind of wire harness.

Here is a funny asian commercial (see subtitles) where a guy and his girlfriend are sitting in a restaurant. The girl is saying that she knows he works a lot and doesn't have much time for 'us'. The guy is sitting there zombified and cuts her off by grasping her hand like he would hold a computer mouse. He starts moving her hand around and trying to click it like it was a computer mouse. He even turns her hand over to 'fix' the non-existant mouse ball. The girl's expression is classic.
